What a day out on the water with Joe and their crew! We had the chance to go on a Private 4 To 6 Hour Inshore Fishing Trip with Above C Level Adventures, and it was an absolute blast. June is prime time for inshore fishing around Roanoke Island, with the warm waters and long days creating ideal conditions to target a variety of species.

We met up at 4457 Mill Landing Rd early that morning, got our gear ready, and headed out to our first spot. The conditions were perfect - clear skies, calm waters, and plenty of baitfish activity to get the fish fired up. We started out jigging and trolling, covering different depths to see what the Grey Triggerfish were keying in on that day. It wasn't long before we started getting some solid hookups, the rods bending as the fish put up a great fight. 

As we worked our way around the flats and along the structure, we mixed it up with some deep sea, bow fishing, heavy tackle, and light tackle presentations. The variety of techniques really seemed to do the trick, as we continued to boat fish after fish. The best part was seeing the looks on the crew's faces each time someone set the hook - the pure excitement and joy of landing a feisty Grey Triggerfish is what these trips are all about.
